Saturday, March 12, 2022 was our annual general membership meeting at the Na Wai 'Ola Public Charter School cafeteria in Mt. View, Hawaii. Mahalo to all who attended the 2-hour event and special kudos to Neighborhood Watch (NW) guest speaker, Marianne W. for her report on crime and for sharing the news that the Aloha Estates' community are now members of the Puna Neighborhood Watch community. She has attended NW meetings at the Keaau Community Center with our own VP Shelly P. and shared the Project 360 'Ohana Emergency Plan brochure. (Available to view and print under the Neighborhood Watch link). Marianne is a retired police officer and has experience and expertise in these matters and we are lucky to have her on our team. Aloha Estates will receive NW stickers to place in the window at home as well as four large NW metal signs to be placed in high crime areas for visibility. Safety and security are important issues to those of us who live here in Aloha Estates and it is in our best interest to be involved and help fight crime as a community. Imua Neighborhood Watch! Aloha
